I grew up in Sedalia, home of the Missouri State Fair! Through grade school and high school, I loved writing and speaking but wound up heading to the University of Notre Dame as an architecture major. That lasted all of a day before I began a tour of several different majors.


I wound up in American Studies. An internship in Washington, D.C., with NBC’s Meet the Press made me realize I wanted to work in the news business.


I graduated from Notre Dame in 2005 and headed to Minot, N. D., where I worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at KXMC for two great years. As great as that was, though, I’m thrilled to be back in the Show Me State, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, and the place I will always call home! I joined KY3 News on Sept. 10, 2007.
