I grew up in Sedalia, home of the Missouri State Fair! Through grade school and high school, I loved writing and speaking but wound up heading to the University of Notre Dame as an architecture major. That lasted all of a day before I began a tour of several different majors.
I wound up in American Studies. An internship in Washington, D.C., with NBC’s Meet the Press made me realize I wanted to work in the news business.
I graduated from Notre Dame in 2005 and headed to Minot, N. D., where I worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at KXMC for two great years. As great as that was, though, I’m thrilled to be back in the Show-Me State, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, and the place I will always call home! I joined KY3 News on Sept. 10, 2007.
