WXIN / WTTV has an opening for a Television Broadcast Engineer with a heavy emphasis in News Operations. We are seeking applicants that enjoy challenges, Don’t mind extended hours when needed, and enjoy working with new technology. If you are skilled in the following area’s, you should apply. Qualifications Necessary: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or formal electronics/IT training with a with a good track record in the industry. Proficient with Mac / PC. Experience in construction and maintenance of a digital television broadcast plant. Requires the ability to be “on call” for after hours maintenance of critical system problems and malfunctions. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds for approximately 100 feet. Some climbing, stooping and crawling may be required.
