Army Pfc. E. Duncan Cameron with his sister, Cpl. Betty Cameron of the Women's Army Corps at Kennedy General Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., in the spring of 1945. Duncan was at the hospital getting treatment for a shrapnel wound he suffered Sept. 19, 1944, near Stolberg, Germany. As a rifleman with Company C, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, he hit Omaha Beach on D-Day. Today he is 89 and lives in Bethlehem Township..
