1979 World Series: Game 7

Orioles right fielder Ken Singleton sits at his locker in Memorial Stadium after the Orioles lost Game 7 of the World Series on Oct. 17, 1979. The Orioles were one win away from winning the series when they dropped the final three games, including the series-clinching game, 4-1. The Pirates' Willie Stargell was named World Series Most Valuable Player after hitting three home runs in the series, including a sixth-inning, two-run shot in Game 7.
