Glimpsed at Gallery CA: Deana Haggag

Deana Haggag, 25, may have overseen the opening of a new show at Gallery CA, where she is curator in residence, but, the Bolton Hill resident was an art show herself that night in a style she calls "ADHD" explaining, "It's different all the time. I can't stick with one thing." Her ensemble included a camel H&M blazer, a charcoal silk and cotton long sleeve T-shirt that she picked up at Berksha in Lebanon, and cream pleated high-waist cropped Zara pants. "I love high-waisted pants," she says, "Everybody makes fun of me. I have the worst collection of them." She got her gray clog ankle boots from her father, who is a shoe importer. She stacked an "Egypt" script necklace she bought from a Brooklyn, New York street vendor, and an emerald green braided necklace and multi chain necklace -- both of which she found at Fashion To Figure in Mondawmin Mall. She found her cool eyewear at a street vendor in New York City's Chinatown, and had her optician fit them with her prescription lenses.
