( Colby Ware, Photo for The Baltimore Sun / January 23, 2013 ) Amber Nelson, 36, may have come to Sascha's 527 to check out the work of an art show there, but, the Renaissance Fine Arts art consultant was herself a fabulous sight. In a style the Mount Vernon resident describes as "a little more goth eclectic with a little sparkle, a little glam," Nelson sported a gray and black horizontally-striped dress with a double layered skirt and bow belt that she found eBay. "I've never shopped online for clothing before," she said. She added black tights, a long black cardigan from Macy's, black suede sheathed buckle boots from Nordstrom, a black and crystal necklace from Forever 21, and a vintage Coach cross-body bag that she found at DeBois Textiles. "I go there monthly," she said. A particular favorite is the gray handknit cap with attached scarf. "I bought it at a street festival," she noted. "It's the coolest thing ever." |
