( Photo by Colby Ware, Special to The Baltimore Sun / October 13, 2011 ) Andrea Derricks, 26, credits her father with inspiring her personal style that's "a unique mix of classic and funky." "My dad's an artist, so I'm always looking for those artsy pieces," says the marketing associate for L2, a New York-based think tank for prestige brands. She had traveled from her home in Long Island City, N.Y., to attend the "Paws for a Cause Charity Night" at Blue Hill Tavern, organized by her brother Woody Derricks for Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter. She sported a deep red floral-print sleeveless Johann tunic with empire waist from Urban Outfitters with a pair of black Lovely Day leggings and a multi-metal double chain long necklace, both from a boutique in New York. Her black BCBG ballet flats came from Filene's Basement. She picked up her black slouch tote at the Cole Haan store. Her red and black brocade pashmina and gold Michael Kors watch were gifts. |
