( Colby Ware, special to The Baltimore Sun / November 11, 2010 ) Anastasia Miller, 36, modestly describes her style as "eclectic." But, we thought she looked very downtown hip when we "glimpsed" the Lauraville resident at her job in Mount Vernon as a receptionist for Agora. Miller sported a charcoal cotton v-neck American Apparel tee shirt with skinny black cords from Madewell, over which she'd added a cream and gray herringbone blazer she'd found at the Goodwill store. Her purple and black leopard print cotton fringe scarf came from Wet Seal, and a girlfriend had given her the black suede Steve Madden clogs. Her multi-chain necklace featured a skull charms and a heart pendant that was yellow acrylic on one side, and hot pink on the other. It was made by her friend Tina, for Van Booven Designs. One of Miller's fashion tricks? "I like to mix up thrift store with mall goodies, so I don't look like a walking advertisement." |
