( Photo by Colby Ware, Special to The Baltimore Sun / October 16, 2012 ) Gina Zuk's secret to great style is let her accessories do most of the work. I tend to gravitate toward neutral pieces, so I find that buying a colorful belt, scarf, necklace or shoe really makes the outfit pop and look different, the 33-year-old Lutherville resident said. When we spotted the director of client services at Abel Communications, we immediately knew what she was talking about. We loved her nude colored blouse from Loehmann's -- her self-proclaimed favorite shopping spot -- her black skirt from H&M and her nude patent-leather pumps from Nordstrom. The addition of the red patent-leather belt from H&M really enhanced the outfit. Her black leather bag from Steve Madden worked with the ensemble. So did her earrings by BP at Nordstrom, her Michael Kors watch, bracelet from a boutique on Melrose in California, necklace from Francesca's and another wrap bracelet by local designer Rachel Mulherin. Pay more for key items, try to look for bargains for trendy pieces, she said. |
