Pictured: Charisse Shipp and Faye Roberts You could say it was a concert of tastes that brought a couple of hundred people to the Modell Center for the Performing Arts at the Lyric Opera House. Throughout the lobby and mezzanine, local chefs offered creations at food stations to go with a variety of wines offered by a several local wine shops for the American Cancer Society's Taste for Life event. "There's no better way of celebrating anything than marrying food and wine," said Jim Oremland, event chair, there with his wife, Marsha Oremland, event committee member. "I'm supporting the cause," said Rhonda Overby, Camera Ready president, as she munched on veggies and crab dip. Her husband, Joe Haskins, Harbor Bank of Maryland chairman/CEO, browsed the food and wine stations, along with Cecil Flamer, event committee member, and his wife, Sheryl Flamer, community volunteer. Gloria Crockett, American Cancer Society state vice president, was relishing the scene. "I like that everybody's out here, having a good time.
