"There's no better way of celebrating anything than marrying food and wine," said Jim Oremland, event chair, there with his wife, Marsha Oremland, event committee member.
"I'm supporting the cause," said Rhonda Overby, Camera Ready president, as she munched on veggies and crab dip. Her husband, Joe Haskins, Harbor Bank of Maryland chairman/CEO, browsed the food and wine stations, along with Cecil Flamer, event committee member, and his wife, Sheryl Flamer, community volunteer.
Gloria Crockett, American Cancer Society state vice president, was relishing the scene.
"I like that everybody's out here, having a good time. It's giving back to a nonprofit, but not feeling like it," she said.
