More than 200 folks had gathered for the Life and Breath Foundation's fourth annual Flip-Flop Festivus. "Today is the first day of fall, but we're going to sneak in the last day of summer tonight," said Sean Hull, founder/president of Life and Breath Foundation. "One of the things you learn as a man is to follow directions," said Jim Gianiny, DDC Advocacy president. "It says Flip-Flop Festivus. You wear flip-flops." For those who weren't, explanations ran the gamut. "I just didn't feel right at the Four Seasons with flip-flops on," said Mark Viviano, WJZ-TV sports director. "I would've worn flip-flops, but ugh no pedicure," said Amelia Ryerson, 98 Rock morning show co-host. Ed Norris, CBS Radio broadcaster, said he had three pairs of flip-flops on the floor of his closet. But that's where they were staying. "Look around the room, look around.
