( unknown, Baltimore Sun / November 6, 2011 ) Last year, his designs were inspired by Barbie and the Army. This year, Devon Brown will showcase eye-catching garments in non-conventional prints and a basic color palette. "Valium III -- The Final Dosage," the 26-year-old designer's third show, is a collection that promises to display the Baltimore native's techniques and creativeness. Brown's career has flourished since he started out making garments by reconstructing merchandise purchased by his friends. He regularly participates in local college fashion shows and has even created garments for recording artist Wish, a Baltimore native who has been signed to Jive Records. |
