Lee/The Tennessean / April 8, 2012 ) After making fans wait for two hours at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee, West finally took the stage at 4:30 a.m., just as the sun was beginning to rise. The angry crowd threw trash onto the stage and were later heard chanting, "Kanye Sucks!" In response, West blasted his fans on his blog: "I'm typing so f***ing hard I might break my f***ing Macbook Air!!!!! Call me any name you want...BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! WE WERE OBVIOUSLY DEALING WITH F***ING IDIOTS WHO DIDN'T REALLY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO REALLY PUT ON THIS SHOW PROPERLY. THEY TRIED 2 GIVE ME A TIME SLOT WHERE IT WAS STILL LIGHT OUTSIDE...I HAVE A F***ING LIGHT SHOW DUMB A**, IT'S NOT CALLED GLOW IN THE DARK FOR NO REASON SQUID BRAINS!" C'mon, guys. You can't rush perfection. Especially when it's 2 a.m. and the sun is shining. |
