Season in review: Williams, who turned down a three-year, $15 million extension before the season, fended off fellow cornerback Jimmy Smith to keep his starting gig. Scrutinized after he got picked on by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in Week 3, Williams bounced back with an interception in three straight games. He finished with four in the regular season and added two more picks in the playoffs.

Signature moment:Williams silenced his critics -- at least for a little while -- when he jumped a pass by Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden in Week 4 and ran it back 63 yards for a key touchdown
