I write that with all due respect to Roberts, who was one of baseball's best leadoff hitters before injuries limited him to just 115 total games the past three seasons, including a career-low 17 in 2012. He wasn't healthy long enough to get comfortable last year, but his numbers down in spring training suggest Roberts might be getting his groove back. It would be a huge bonus if the 35-year-old could produce as their everyday second baseman. |
