Spring training

Pitchers and catchers have already reported, but the high-flying Orioles have their first spring training game scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Feb. 23 in Sarasota, Fla., versus the Minnesota Twins (against whom they will also play their home opener on April 5). If you can't afford the plane ticket, you can listen to the game on WBAL-AM (1090). There are few more welcome signs of spring than the sound of bat hitting ball.
