No. 5: Community College of Baltimore County

Since 1957, residents of Baltimore County have gone to the Community College of Baltimore County for an affordable, high-quality education. Each year, 70,000 students of a variety of ages and backgrounds matriculate in hundreds of programs and thousands of classes. CCBC was one of 26 U.S. community colleges included in the Chronicle of Higher Education's 2011 "Great Colleges to Work For" list, and employees agree. "We set high standards and have been acknowledged for excellence in curriculum, leadership, and student support," said one. "CCBC is a great place to work."
