What is more romantic than dinner, right? The Smart Museum has an art show for you, "Feast: Radical Hospitality in Contemporary Art." Since way back when, artists have been looking at the act of sharing a meal from an aesthetic viewpoint. The bonus is that it's a universal experience, which makes it a lot easier for people to (sort of) grasp than a single black canvas and the accompanying placard that explains the work. This means that you don't have to suffer through the rather unromantic "I don't get this" moment. And if things are going really, really well, you can frolic with Mella Jaarsma's I Eat You Eat Me, a sculpture that enables you to stage your own deal in the Smart Museum cafeteria, thanks to Jaarsma's creation that is worn by two people, yielding a mutually supported table between. Now that's what we call eating together.
