( February 21, 2012 ) Dr. Charlotte M.E. Kremer has joined Astellas Scientific and Medical Affairs as senior vice president of its new Global Medical Affairs Organization. Kremer will provide global leadership for medical excellence and a unified medical perspective across regions for Astellas' portfolio of global products. Kremer brings more than 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to Astellas. Most recently, she was vice president, therapeutic area head for Ophthalmology, PVD, Rare Diseases and Neuroscience at Pfizer. There, she successfully led and executed the clinical development and global medical strategy in these areas. Before that, Kremer moved up through the ranks at Organon Pharmaceuticals. Kremer received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. She also has an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. |
