( August 31, 2011 ) Elizabeth Fenner has been named editor in chief post at Chicago magazine, a unit of Chicago Tribune Media Group. The Chicago native takes the post Sept. 19. She comes to Chicago from Money magazine, where she has been assistant managing editor since 2008. Fenner spent most of her career at Time Inc., including two years as executive editor of Women's Health. Before that, Fenner was an assistant managing editor at Fortune and a senior editor at People. She succeeds Richard Babcock, who retired in April after 20 years in the position. |
