( Reuters / July 13, 2012 ) The exterior of The Mirrorcube, a hotel room built as a tree house 13 feet above the ground, at the Treehotel in Harads, Boden municipality in Norrbotten county, about 37 miles south of the Arctic Circle, is a hotel concept which aims to elevate the simple tree house into a world-class destination for design-conscious travelers. It consists of four rooms: The Cabin, The Blue Cone, The Nest and The Mirrorcube. The luxury of the experience will cost up to 4,200 Swedish crowns ($555.50) for two guests in the Mirrorcube, which is designed to hold up to four guests. |
