SPRINGFIELD, Mo. If you're ready to clear out your closets and make some extra cash, the Just Between Friends Sale opens to the public on Wednesday at the Fieldhouse Sports Center in Springfield. It's a chance to make money by selling the toys, clothing, books and baby items you don't need anymore.

If this is your first time consigning with JBF you need to register and create an account today (Friday, March 24). You can do that by going to www.springfield.jbfsale.com.

Beth Morgan is a mother of 3. She consigns every year to make extra money. Morgan says start with big items like baby swings, strollers, kids bikes and outdoor toys. These are always hot items for shoppers and you get your storage space back.

When pricing things, think about what you would pay. You can also choose to reduce the price by half to increase your chance of selling it.
If it doesn't sell, you can either donate it or pick it up when the sale is done.

The Just Between Friends Sale inspects each item to make sure clothing is in good condition and not stained or ripped. All electronics must have batteries to show they work.

When hanging clothing, make sure the hanger top is pointing to your left like a question mark. Your price tag needs to be pinned on the right side. Secure your clothing or outfit to the hanger with safety pins. To speed up your drop off time, sort your clothing/items by gender and age.
