Greene County deputies recover trailer stolen from Springfield's Habitat for Huamnity

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Greene County deputies say they have tracked down the missing trailer stolen from Springfield's Habitat for Humanity.

Surveillance video caught the thieves leaving the Habitat for Humanity parking lot, stealing a truck and a trailer. The trailer was full of construction tools the organization uses to build and repair homes. The truck, trailer, and tools are not only worth thousands of dollars, but the loss slows work.

Investigators recovered a truck with it in Springfield Wednesday. A citizens report led Greene County deputies to the trailer in the 2000 block South Hilton. However, nobody was at the address.

Habitat for Humanity has offered a $1,000 reward for any information in the case.
