Leigh's Lost and Found: featuring a lost Chocolate Lab with an old leg injury

In today's Leigh's Lost and Found report, we're featuring a Lab mix found running loose in Willard. She has a distinctive old injury that should make it easy to recognize her.

"she had an old injury on her right front leg. It appears she broke her leg at one point and it healed crooked."

Animal control says it doesn't appear to bother her at all and she has no problem running around and jumping up.

The female Chocolate lab mix is around three to four years old. She didn't have any collar, chip or tags on her but based on her condition, shelter coordinator Josh Doss says he's sure she has an owner missing her somewhere.

"She's very well socialized with both people and other animals and she doesn't have long toenails and her coat is good. She's been well taken care of."

If you recognize this dog or you've lost a pet, call animal control at 417-833-3592. You can also visit their website to see pictures of all the animals currently there and to fill out an online lost pet form.
