Leigh's Lost and Found: featuring a very young, lost Hound mix puppy

In today's Leigh's Lost and Found report, our featured pup was picked up in the 1300 block of east McDaniel. And this girl is a young one.

"She's very excited to see new people, very friendly, loves to play with people and other dogs."

Animal control believes she's only three months old. They think she's mostly a Hound but possibly mixed with a Shepherd.

Unfortunately, she didn't have any collar or tags on and no microchip. Like most puppies, she's super energetic and loves to nibble you with her puppy teeth.

"She's probably teething and getting very close to swapping out her baby teeth for some adult teeth."

If you recognize this dog or you've lost a pet, call animal control at 417-833-3592. You can also visit their website to see pictures of all the animals currently there and to fill out an online lost pet form.

Another great resource is the Leigh's Lost and Found facebook page. Anyone can post a lost or found animal on there so be sure to like the page and share it with your friends.
