Bridge work will constrict Missouri 13 north of Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Missouri 13 will be one lane in each direction, starting Thursday, just north of Interstate 44. All traffic will use the northbound bridge over Radio Lane (Greene County Farm Road 102) until early fall, when traffic will be shifted to the southbound bridge until about Dec. 1.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says drivers can expect congestion and traffic delays as two-lane traffic is merged into one-lane traffic. MoDOT urges drivers to use other highways, including U.S. 160 (West Bypass) and U.S. 65.

Hartman Construction crews will replace the bridge decks and driving surfaces on both bridges over Radio Lane. The project will cost MoDOT about $1.5 million.
