A search is still going on for at least one man after a robbery at a convenience store in Bolivar.

Police say around 10:20 Friday night two men wearing masks came into a Fast and Friendly on the east side of town and demanded money.

Witnesses say the men had handguns and told everyone in the store to look down and keep their eyes off of them.

Then they grabbed some money from the register.

They hopped in a minivan with a female and drove off, north on highway D.

"Since they were going north we also called the Hickory county sheriff's department. Some of their deputies and the sheriff saw a vehicle that looked similar just north of the county line and there was a brief pursuit before they crashed off of 64." said Lt. Roger Barron, with the Bolivar Police Department.

Authorities say the two men took off into the woods while the woman stayed behind and was taken into custody.

She has been identified as 34 year old Elena Marie Ornelas. And is charged with felony armed robbery.

It took several hours before they found one of the men.

"About four thirty this morning a male subject came up to the sheriff's deputies and claimed that he was a victim in all of this." said Barron.

But the deputies knew that wasn't the case because the group had stolen from Bolivar's Walmart earlier in the night.

"We had pictures of the subjects, so he was taken into custody at that time." said Barron.

He has been identified as 31 year old Brandon Searl, and is being held on a probation violation out of Colorado.

But Lt. Barron says when the group stole from the Walmart there were four of them.

During the robbery at the gas station there were only three.

Police shared pictures from Walmart security cameras of two men who were in the group, but haven't been taken into custody.

Police believe one of them was involved with the robbery.

And just to make this case even more interesting....

"All of the people that we have identified so far have come from Colorado. That have no identifiable ties to southwest Missouri." said Barron.

Police say there were no firearms in their van, but some things that looked like handguns, like airsoft guns and paintball guns.

Police say those two men on the run may be armed.

They have not been identified but if you see them you are asked to call police.
