Police arrest man in connection to armed robbery at Casey's General Store in Nixa, Mo.

Police in Nixa, Mo. arrested a man connected to an armed robbery of a Casey's General Store Monday morning.
Police say they received several tips regarding the case.
The robbery happened at the station at the corner of Main and Aldersgate. Witnesses reported seeing the suspect running towards the Deerfield Apartments. Police evacuated the complex out of caution while officers work to determine the suspect’s location.
According to witnesses who were at the apartment complex, they saw two men pull up in newer 4-door white sedan. Witnesses say the passenger was a blonde-haired man with shoulder-length hair in his early 20’s. Witnesses say the driver had brown hair, but they did not get a good look at him because he never got out of the vehicle.
The witnesses say the passenger walked out of vehicle towards the apartments, where they lost sight of him for several moments. The witnesses then saw the passenger come back to the sedan, remove his clothing and throw it into a dumpster in the apartment complex parking lot.
Witnesses say the passenger then got dressed into t-shirt and shorts next to car, then got back in the car, and the car left towards Aldersgate Drive.
Officers have retrieved items from the dumpster.
