Police recover stolen truck belonging to Springfield's Habitat for Humanity; trailer missing

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Police say they have tracked down a truck that was stolen from Springfield's Habitat for Humanity.

Investigators say they recovered the truck in the 1500 block of East Buena Vista in Springfield. However, a trailer full of tools hooked to the truck remains missing.

Surveillance video caught the thieves leaving the Habitat for Humanity parking lot. The trailer was full of construction tools the organization uses to build and repair homes. The truck, trailer, and tools are not only worth thousands of dollars, but the loss slows work.

Habitat for Humanity is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to the recovery of the stolen property.
