GREENFIELD, Mo. - A public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20, will have information about traffic impacts during the rehabilitation of the Dade County Highway H bridge over Stockton Lake. The meeting is from 4:30 to 6 in the cafeteria at Greenfield Junior High School, 410 W. College, Greenfield.
This is a come-and-go style meeting with no formal presentation. MoDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the traffic impacts and the construction timeline for the project.
People can't attend will be able to see the same exhibits online and send in questions by email starting Tuesday. at www.modot.org/southwest.
The bridge over Stockton Lake is scheduled to close about Oct. 24 and reopen before Memorial Day 2017. The $2.7 million project will replace the bridge deck.
The work is being done during the fall, winter, and spring at the request of the community to avoid the busy summer tourism season at Stockton Lake. The bridge is next to Ruark Bluff Park
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule. Traffic will be detoured along Missouri 39 and Dade County Highway Y.
