SPRINGFIELD Mo. -- Tow truck drivers struggled Sunday too with the icy conditions in the Ozarks.
Henry's Towing says it is running under emergency status, which means they are only handling severe crashes blocking roads. One towing veteran with Henry's says the company has even helped salt trucks that were stuck in ditches on the side of the highway.
There is good news for those who are trying to make it out of the house.
"The roads have gotten much better, the drivers have been able to get around a lot better and the drivers are safer," said Ardy Balty of Henry's Towing. "It is a safer enviornment than last night."
