Jamie M. O’Malley, has been named president and chief executive of Glenview-based Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, which serves north/northwest Cook County, north/northwest Chicago and Lake County.

O’Malley, a registered nurse, has 30 years of experience in health care and management, most recently as vice president and chief nursing officer at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She also has held leadership positions as Children’s Memorial Hospital and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

O’Malley has a master’s degree in nursing administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University.
