Steve Auten, partner, Cozen O'Connor

Steve Auten has joined Cozen O'Connor as a member of the intellectual property group in Chicago. He will focus his practice on the representation of generic pharmaceutical companies in the areas of Paragraph IV design strategies, Hatch-Waxman litigation, and biosimilar market opportunities.

Auten formerly was an executive and head of intellectual property for North America with Sandoz Inc, the generic pharmaceutical division of Novartis and the world's second largest generic pharmaceutical company.

Auten received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
