( September 25, 2012 ) Sofia Kataggelos has been appointed to the board of directors for the National Runaway Switchboard, the federally-designated national communications system for runaway and homeless youth. She is a senior at Whitney Young Magnet High School and serves as the youth representative on the board. As a front-line team member since March 2011, she has logged more than 110 hours and handled over 450 calls. |
