( November 11, 2012 ) Mitch Marcus has been appointed chief financial officer for Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. He will have global responsibility for accounting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, tax, internal audit, and treasury. Marcus most recently served as senior vice president treasurer and senior vice president corporate development at Sara Lee. Prior to Sara Lee, Marcus was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs and William Blair. He started his career as a staff accountant at Arthur Andersen, and after obtaining a law degree, was a corporate attorney at Dewey Ballantine. Marcus has a Bachelor's degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University an MBA from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a law degree from George Washington University. |
