Thru A. Shivakumar has been appointed vice president, acquisitions, at Green Courte Partners, LLC. She will focus on Green Courte's parking acquisition efforts with an emphasis on the "near-airport" parking sector. 

Prior to joining Green Courte, Shivakumar spent five years with InterPark, LLC, a national owner, manager, and developer of parking facilities. Prior to InterPark, Ms. Shivakumar worked at Hyatt Select Hotels where she was involved with rebranding the AmeriSuites hotel chain into Hyatt Place.

Shivakumar has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and is currently enrolled in Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in pursuit of an MBA.
