If you're a fan of emotionally-stunted men-children getting themselves into wacky situations, Hollywood has you covered with The Hangover and the Will-Ferrell laugher Land of the Lost.

The Hangover is not about a group of friends' wild bachelor party but more about the aftermath in which characters played by Bradley Cooper (who plays Ed Helms on The Office) and Zach Galifianakis wake up to find a baby in their closet, a police car in their reserved parking, and the groom unaccounted for. What transpires is a film-long riddle to try to retrace their steps from the night before, which leads to even more outrageousness.

All the actors here aren't well-known but are really funny and director Todd Phillips, who did Old School, knows how to make this sort of comedy work. Plus, any film with Mike Tyson singing along to Genesis can't be bad.

The Hangover is rated R for pervasive language, sexual content including nudity, and some drug material.

The TV show Land of the Lost has its fans and Will Ferrell is banking on them to show up for this big-screen remake. He plays scientist Will Stanton who leads some ragtag misfits, including IT comedian Danny McBride, through a portal to a place where time and space have gone awry.

This place is full of weird creatures like the iconic Chaka and some pretty impressive special effects. It should be a good for a laugh or two as most films that try to mix comedy with action miss the mark.

Land of the Lost is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual content, and for language including a drug reference.
