BRANSON, Mo. -- The owners of the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum announced it will close in December. The non-profit group that runs the museum says it is closing because of declining attendance and an uncertain economy. It opened in California in 1967 and has operated in Branson for six years.
The memorabilia and artifacts on display will be sold. Roy Rogers Jr. says he will look for a new location in the Branson area to continue live shows but offered no other details.
