On this Fit Friday, KY3's Paul Adler met with registered dietician Noah Alldredge from Big Time Results at Price Cutter's Taste Culinary Classroom. They cooked up a savory recipe for that leftover turkey.
Noah's Turkey Rice Jambalaya
*1 lb of leftover turkey or 93/7 HoneySuckle Ground Turkey browned
*add 1/4 cup of Mr Yoshidas, Hot Sauce to preference
*once turkey is cooked, add sauteed diced tri-colored bell peppers to turkey.
*Then add turkey mixture with 4 cups of cooked brown rice.
I like to add cumin and curry to my rice to liven it up a bit, it's up to you to determine that amount of 'kick' you want in the recipe.
