Jeffery VanCamp is Missouri State University's director of catering. He created this special drink for An Evening of Miracles. The drink recipe is a throwback to the Big Band Era, which is the theme of the fundraising event, which supports Children's Miracle Network. It's Feb. 9 from 6 to 11 p.m. at Darr Agricultural Center on South Kansas Expressway between Sunshine Street and Battlefield Road.
1 ½ ounces of gin
½ ounce of cherry heering
¼ ounce of Triple Sec (or Cointreau Liquor)
¼ ounce of Benedictine
4 ounces of pineapple juice
½ ounce of lime juice
1/3 ounce of Grenadine
Dash of Bitters
