1 gallon of apple cider
2 liters of ginger ale
2 teaspoons of ginger
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
2 cups of orange juice
3 oranges, thinly sliced
Cinnamon sticks
Ice for filling glasses.
In a medium stock pot, combine cider, orange juice, ginger, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Let cool to room temperature.
Fill a glass with ice, placing an orange slice in the ice approximately half way up the glass. Fill the glass 1/3 of the way with ginger ale. Finish filling the glass with the cider mixture. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Recipe serves 10-15 guests.
