Rocking for a cause

By Gene Hartley

Bands from around the Ozarks will be rocking out for a cause in Springfield this weekend. Tammy mast joined Ozarks Today on April 24th to talk about the "Free To Be" Rock Fest. The group A Cub Bella also joined us in the studio.

The Free To Be Rock Fest will be from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Jordan Valley Park.

The following bands are scheduled to perform: A Day Away, Taylor M. Swift and Alea Kilgore, Funkee Noosa, A Cub Bella, Better Left Behind and Time of Favor.

The concert will raise awareness and funds for GYNCA. GYN Cancers Alliance is a nonprofit organization that helps women find new hope while coping with gynecologic cancer.
