Grilled pear & prosciutto skewers with goat cheese crumbles 7/9/09

2 pears
8 slices of prosciutto
1/2 cup of crumbled goat cheese
8 bamboo skewers

Quarter and core each pear. Wrap each quarter with the prosciutto, securing the prosciutto with a bamboo skewer.

Grill until pear sweats and ham begins to crisp and darken. Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle with goat cheese. Let stand until goat cheese begins to melt a little.

Recipe serves 4-6 people.
