Chilled peach soup 8/6/09

5 large. ripe peaches, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of sour cream
1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
1 cup of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of thawed orange juice concentrate
1 tablespoon of ginger 
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 

Purée peaches with sugar in processor or blender. Mix in sour cream. Add lemon juice, cream, spices and orange concentrate and blend until smooth. 

Transfer to bowl. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled. 

Ladle soup into bowls. Garnish each bowl with sliced fresh peaches and serve. 

6-8 servings.
