7 appliances you can buy tax-free this weekend
Missouri will have a "green" sales tax holiday Thursday April 19 through Tuesday April 24. You will be able to purchase Energy Star-certified appliances without paying state sales tax on the first $1,500 of each appliance. Appliances like clothes dryers, ovens and stoves are not certified by Energy Star and will be subject to the full state sales tax.
