PICTURES: Springfield's Shiny New Red Fire Trucks
SPRINGFIELD, Mo - Springfield Fire Department revealed today in a news conference at the Springfield Fire Station #6 on West Battlefield Rd. After driving down Battlefield in a line towards the station, the trucks pulled into the station bays where Mayor Bob Stephens, Fire Chief David Hall, and Assistant Fire Chief of Operations David Pennington, spoke to the crowd of news and fire fighters. The new trucks will be distributed to stations throughout the city.
