( HANS DERYK/AP PHOTO / October 12, 1996 ) Paul Coffey played 1,409 games and scored 396 goals in his hall of fame career. Unfortunately, only 20 of those games were played with the Whalers, where he scored three goals. He was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers and played for a season and a half, making the finals in '97 against his old team, the Detroit Red Wings. Coffey did not work out in Hartford. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004. |
