The Gardens Senior Living is a 55+ continuum – age in place campus that includes Senior Patio Homes, Independent Living Apartments, Assisted Living Apartments and Memory Care Apartments in a full retirement setting. This is a benefit to be able to move between areas as your health necessitates. Continuum of care is a priceless benefit for older adults. Change is difficult, but remaining within the same community can lessen the transition. Moving from the independent patio homes to the independent living and on to the assisted living as your health needs change leaves you in control of your housing needs.
A few amenities include:
Restaurant Style Dining - Daily Activities – Indoor Swimming Pool – Housekeeping Service – Personal Laundry & Linen Service, Transportation to Doctor Appointments as well as Shopping – Cable TV – All utilities paid except Telephone.
The Senior Patio Homes offer attached garages, trash and lawn services, noon meal Monday thru Friday, and use of the clubhouse and pavilion. We offer 2 bedrooms – 2 bath units with 1400 to 1500 sq feet of living space. There is also a 1 bedroom, 1 ½ bath with just over 1000 sq feet of living space. The residents have access to the swimming pool, activities offered at the Independent Living facility, as well as the ability to eat extra meals in the Independent Living dining room for an additional charge.
The Independent Living Community offers many amenities to enhance your lifestyle. An indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, exercise room, library, snack bar, billiards room, card room, community room, theater, water aerobics, tai-chi are just a few of the features to keep your days active. We also provide weekly housekeeping, towel & linen service, transportation, and a fine dining experience three times a day. .
The Assisted Living Community offers 24 hour staffing, Licensed Nursing, Certified Medication Aids who administer medications. We can assist with bathing and dressing. The assisted living has private and semi private apartments. We are licensed by the state and except long -term health insurance.
The Memory Care is a secured facility for residents with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and severe dementia. All rooms are private studio apartments with private baths. Activities are geared toward the resident; we also have pet therapy and music therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I come in and tour and do I have to make an appointment?
- You are more than welcome to come in for a tour and you do not have to make an appointment, but it does help to make sure there is someone available. Basic hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Extended hours are Evening hours 5pm-8pm and Weekends 8am-8pm.
- Can I bring my pet?
- Yes. There is a $500.00 pet fee and you must be able to take care of the pet yourself.
- Can I bring my vehicle?
- You may bring your vehicle. In the patio homes we have garages, in our independent living we have covered parking and at our assisted living we have parking spaces.
- Do you have visiting hours?
- Basic visiting hours are from 8am to 8 pm, but you are able to come any time if you need to see someone or if you have someone to come see you.
- Do you except Medicare and Medicaid?
- Most of our residents have Medicare, but Medicare does not pay for your housing in any of our facilities. In the Assisted Living we do have some Medicaid rooms which are our companion suites. If you have any questions about how Medicaid works please give us a call at 417-889-7600.
