Hamel Cavalier 70s

The Hamel Cavalier 70s slow-pitch softball team was inducted into the Washington Area Softball Hall of Fame. The team features two players - Bud Allen and Skip Poffenberger (back row, second and third from right) - from Washington County who also play in the local senior softball league.
The Cavalier 70s won numerous championships from 2009 to 2012, including the USA National tournament, East Coast Championships in North Carolina, Atlantic Coast Championships in Virginia and World Cup titles in Phoenix and Salem, Va.
