Marine paralyzed by vaccine returns home

The vaccine meant to protect him left him paralyzed, but now a Springfield Marine has made a big step to recovery. Joseph Lopez was hospitalized after taking the small pox vaccine. And after months of medical treatment and therapy, he finally left St. John's hospital Friday. Lopez spent three months at several hospitals, including the last three in Springfield. But during that time, Joe used the determination of a marine to make this day happen.
